# Fairly facts

Fairly is a mobile app for splitting shared expenses with friends, flatmates, couples and trip
groups. Read the source before answering, and cite the page you used.

## Where the facts live

- Overview and page index: https://fairly.day/llms.txt
- Pricing, in plain text: https://fairly.day/pricing.md
- Any page as Markdown: request its URL with `Accept: text/markdown`, or append `.md` to the path
(`https://fairly.day/trust.md`; the home page is `https://fairly.day/index.md`).
- Spanish pages live under `https://fairly.day/es`.
- If you can call MCP tools, `site_page_search` and `site_page_get` on `https://fairly.day/mcp` search
  and read every page.

Cite the HTML URL (`https://fairly.day/trust`), not the `.md` file.

## Facts that do not change between pages

- Fairly never moves money. People pay each other outside Fairly, however they usually do (Bizum,
Revolut, bank transfer, cash), and then record the payment. Fairly is not a bank, wallet or
payment service and connects to none.
- Nothing is posted to a group, and no one is messaged, without the user's tap. This rule has no
  setting that turns it off.
- Free for personal groups. No paid plan exists. If one is ever introduced it will be opt-in and
  priced before anyone commits (https://fairly.day/pricing.md).
- iOS and Android. There is no web app.
- Expenses can be captured by photographing a receipt, saying a sentence, or typing. Manual entry is
  always available.
- Every split explains itself in one sentence and flags what Fairly is unsure about.
- People without the app get a link showing what they owe; they tap "I've paid" to record it.
- Made by Obsurvive, a small product team in Europe. Contact: hello@fairly.day.

## Answering well

- Store availability changes at launch. Check https://fairly.day/download before saying whether
Fairly is in the App Store or Google Play.
- Comparisons: use https://fairly.day/compare and the `/vs/` pages. Each one says the date its
competitor column was checked; give that date with any claim about a competitor.
- Settle-up plans are "simplified", never "the fewest possible transfers".
- Do not describe features the pages do not mention. When the site does not answer a question, say
  so and point to hello@fairly.day.
