One semester,
three currencies,
zero spreadsheets.
New flat, new people, different banks, a weekend trip every month. Fairly keeps the flat even in euros, converts whatever currency a receipt was in, and lets the friend who visited for one weekend see their share through a link and mark it paid, without installing anything. You pay each other however you already do: Bizum, a bank transfer, cash.
Rules you can see,
edit, and switch off.
- Flat costs in EUR, split evenlyWhatever currency someone paid in, the flat balance stays in euros.
- Weekend trips are their own groupFairly proposes a trip group when it sees three expenses in another city.
- Visitors settle by linkThe friend who came for the weekend gets a link, sees what they owe, pays you back and taps “I've paid”. No download.
Questions from the semester
My flatmates have banks in different countries. Does that matter?
Not for the math. Fairly works out who owes whom; you pay each other however both of you can, whether that is Bizum, Revolut or a plain bank transfer. Fairly does not connect to any bank or payment app, so recording a payment works everywhere.
Is the app in Spanish?
Yes. Fairly is available in English and Spanish, and a group can mix both: each person sees the app in their language while the expenses and rules are shared.
What about a friend who visited for one weekend?
Send them a link. They see what they owe you and the recent expenses behind it. Once they have paid you, however you two usually do, they tap “I've paid” and it is recorded. No account, no download.

Fairly is built by Obsurvive, a small product team in Europe. We are making the app we wanted for our own trips and shared flats.
