Fairly for flats & roommates

Rent day
runs itself.

Fairly learns that rent splits three ways on the 1st, groceries are shared, and Bob's protein powder never is. Recurring costs arrive as drafts, ready in one tap, and every learned rule sits in the group, visible and editable. The flat stays even without anyone becoming the accountant.

What Fairly learns here

Rules you can see,
edit, and switch off.

  • Rent €1,650 three ways on the 1stDrafted the night before, posted when you approve. Change the amount once and it sticks.
  • Groceries are sharedAny supermarket receipt is proposed as an even split; the person who paid can reassign items.
  • Protein powder is never sharedFlagged by Bob once. Fairly leaves that line out of every future split and says so.

Questions from the flat

What happens when a roommate moves out?

Settle the group up to that day, then remove them. Their history stays visible to the others without their personal details, and the rent rule updates to the new number of people the next time it drafts.

Can we split rent unequally?

Yes. Set the shares once, by percentage or by amount, for example a bigger room paying more. Fairly keeps the rule in the group where everyone can see it and proposes it every month.

Will it nag my flatmates?

Only if you ask it to. Reminders are drafted for you in a kind tone and sent only when you tap. Nobody is messaged automatically.
