The chat
stays fun.
One person always pays, the chat goes quiet when someone asks who owes what, and the money slowly stops coming back. Fairly drafts the split from a sentence or a receipt, computes who owes whom, and drafts kind reminders that you send only when you say so. The chasing stops being your job.
Rules you can see,
edit, and switch off.
- Dinners split evenly unless someone says otherwise“Left Marco out of the wine, he doesn't drink” becomes a rule the second time.
- Settle when the balance passes €20Fairly proposes a settle-up when it is worth a transfer, not after every coffee.
- Reminders are kind and drafted for you“Hey Marco, the Lisbon trip is ready to settle, €28.90 whenever suits.” You tap send, or not.
Questions from the group chat
Do all my friends need to install it?
No. You can be the only one with the app. Everyone else gets a link that shows what they owe and an “I've paid” button. If they do install it, they can capture too.
How does it decide who pays whom?
It simplifies who owes whom into a short list of transfers that makes everyone even, usually one or two for a whole trip, and explains each one in a sentence. You can see the math on the free settle-up calculator.
Will it message my friends by itself?
Never. Reminders are drafted for you and shown before sending. Nothing goes to anyone until you tap. That rule has no toggle.
